I have a love-hate relationship to how many names Tolkien gives to a single character. It's like.. His name was Jeff but the Elves called him Francis, then he ran away and said his name was Bob so they wouldn't find him, then he got a sword so the orcs called him "Scary Greg."
I mean, yeah super cool, but also really confusing when I am trying to keep the characters straight. Especially in audiobook format
