I'm just a rando but I'm here to cry about Titus and Kortenaer being butchered with the recast which is very well elaborated upon in this article.

The line readings just have utter contempt for character complexity, and I'm not saying Felix and Matt would be necessarily good at that either, but at the very least the one base voice they do is way better and a more interesting characterization than the one base voice the new guy does,

that's pretty much it. the new actor is like, not acting in any meaningful way

he's just hamming it up, which is where the directors should have stepped in and helped out

Mac McGuire is funny as the Mysterious Pair of Eyes though. he does pretty much the same performance but it's for a more cartoonish/esoteric character so it doesn't matter as much

but his Titus is so bad it is actually misleading.

I think Matt and Felix have a good acting performance in them, even if it would have taken more direction to bring them to that level

also Felix does do actual acting, in that he gives Korty a character journey. I love his delivery of "blue eyes, like someone fucked up and put a baby's eyes on a grown man. Bitches loved that shit."

Yeah, but clearly others with no real acting experience managed beautifully with the help, so it could have been done!! Anyway thank you for eloquently expressing The Truth to a wide audience
