snake is covered in scales all over his body (because... snake-man. hopefully we get more on that in the next 30 chapters or so it's kinda ramping up like we will). he has bad co-dependency issues and is easily manipulated/naive (likely from growing up in a cage with no social interaction other than with snakes)

he has many many many snake friends but he brought 3 to Duplicity with him! they're Emily ( a milksnake ) she's flirty and kind, Webster ( a venomous special breed of pit viper ) who is gruff and confident, and Wilde (a boa constrictor) who is small for his species but still yknow... a boa so big. He's young and casual.

but basically snake was working on a circus where the first string people all turned out to be kidnapping children (which is why Ciel was investigating for the Queen) and Ciel + his workers killed all of them... Snake was suspicious about Ciel and Sebastian so he followed them.

ciel then lied to him and said the troupe were just missing and that snake should join him for the chance to see them again. snake has 1 braincell i guess so he agreed

so now he works as a footman and has filled the estate with snakes and enjoys their greenhouse lmao

snake is very reliant on his snakes (because they were all the social life he had for years) and he speaks 'for' them and can speak to them.

I literally love snake already 😂 and legion will find his friends to be lovely. Legion doesn’t exactly “get” pets, but they realize organics tend to bond with other, less sentient organics. So he will be like “ah yes, you are a krogan and those are your varren, I Understand”

Because hey y’all organics are like, very similar to each other when you’re not stupid about how you all look different
