secondly, .Marvel UK had a different publishing schedule than Marvel US, so they made several filler episodes during the import

and the filler was darker than the main material, at least during the first four issues

because Transformers started as a self-contained miniseries until it got the greenlight to be a full fledged series, the UK fillers were set during the miniseries, which means while Bumblebee was playing out the standard hero origin story...
