HOWEVER, when you come back, one of the side characters, a professor close to retirement, is like "oh yeah, of course time travel is a thing. the forum knows but doesn't talk about it."

also I keep thinking about the nonzero probability that if a Sharlayan prior to Alisaie discovered a cure for tempering, they wouldn't have shared it
