So idk how much everyone knows or recalls so brief ass rundown: my lower back is trash so we’re removing some of the discs in my spine and fusing the vertebrae around them. This is as you can imagine a pretty major surgery so I’ll be admitted for anywhere from 2-4 days, but it’s unlikely to be as long as 4.

I’ll need intensive physical therapy for at least six months! Basically to help me learn to walk again

It may be as long as a year before it’s fully healed. But once it is, theoretically, for the first time, uh, since, uh, I was ... 11 years old ... I’ll have the spine function of someone my age. And I’ll be able to, like ........... walk.

It’s a little surreal. In a good way, of course, just hard to picture.
