i tasked our newest member of the team to rework some documents we had. its a media kit that for SOME ASSININE REASON is 12 separated photoshop documents so i asked if he would convert it to a single indesign document

and i PRESUMED i was clear that he was allowed to redesign it, so long as it had the same information, and showed him how to extract all the assets

and then he bitched about having to resize all the images and started making an indesign document that would have been effectively UNEDITABLE by anyone but himself because every image took up the entirety of the frame so you could only click on the very top image

and when i corrected him that hes wasting his time he accused me and my suggestion to ALSO be a waste of time

like damn son, sorry i helped, sorry i gave you a graphic design task at all

and hes also like "this task is going to take WEEKS" like... n...no, it shouldnt take more than a week considering all youre doing is copy and pasting assets
