you're usually out here waiting at least an hour before the first racers start and when it's cold you can bring cheap blankets or jackets to throw off later, they collect and donate them after

also I rescind my annoyance at having to park at HS, it makes total sense after last month. one entrance to Epcot is closed always for road work rn, the other has to be closed for part of the morning for the race course, and this way they were also able to use more of the Epcot lot for corral staging instead of making us hike a mile

one of the races they literally had to close off part of the walk to the corral for the course as well?? like the first 4 miles ended you back right where we started so the first racers were coming by us before we even started, and people couldn't get to anything but the back corral if they showed up after race start. Which tbf they always say get there

early but people were PISSED
