I loved it. That is MY Batman! A bat who accomplishes nothing and makes Gotham worse!
just a sad, wet dog of a man. I love him
Smart, strong, tactically skilled, and a complete failure at being a human being.
my favorite take on this movie is that it's a detective movie where the detectives absolutely fail, the villain technically wins, and it's still a great detective movie
YES. This is absolutely the case!
They don't so much solve the crimes as follow along with them nodding knowingly and going "hmmm"
a major stumbling block being his complete unfamiliarity with a working-class job implement
they are the rats in the maze tbh
they are just following the path to the prize at the end, and it is handed to them (the villain surrendering himself)
yup and no one questions the surrender. "Yay. We did it!"
Again, I am in no way shitting on this movie. I did, in fact, love it.
I ADORE that if he'd actually been involved with his responsibilities as Bruce, he could have cut all of this off so long ago, too
he failed to take up the mantle of his family legacy in the way that was expected and, to some extent, he should have
instead deciding to become vengeance and kinda... skip over the big picture of what was happening in the city
I really want to see where they go from here. If we can see sad-bat pick himself up and try and be a better Bruce as well as a better Bat.
the way I alway looked at batman was, a man who never grew up past being a scared, angry little boy. I think Battinson has the pieces to do that growing
yeah i'm excited for the spin-off series they're doing
i hope he at least cameos, as like, the beginning of playboy bruce persona
Ooooh. Did not realize there was a series planned!
they're doing a penguin spinoff!
they were also planning a gordon spinoff, but i believe it got scrapped
