I felt sick to my stomach all day a few weeks ago. Started in the morning all of a sudden, went away in the evening.

I guess it was something contagious.

Sister felt sick for several days. Then I think day before yesterday it got better.

Yesterday it got worse again and she felt sick all day.

Last night, she said it felt like something was shredding the inside of her stomach.

Overnight and this morning, she's crying. She never cries.

She can't even make it to the cat in one trip and had to use a folding chair to take breaks along the way.

So...I'm a little worried. Stomach things are never easy on her and this is the worst one I've seen yet.

Oh no! I'll light a candle for her when I get home. Please tell her I love her and I'm praying for her.

Thank you. It's scary seeing her like this because she takes so many things in stride

Thank you so much, everyone. She's home now. They gave her the good drugs and she's relaxed and feeling better if not good. I hope that when they wear off, she'll still be feeling okay.

The problem is that when she gets like that, she gets stomach cramps and can't keep anything down.

But. The dehydration makes the stomach cramps worse.

So when it gets to the point she can't take the pain anymore, or can't even keep a tablespoon of water down, it's time for IV fluids and only the hospital can administer that.

It's a viscous cycle, cramps, dehydration, worse cramps, worse dehydration, etc

But she's got fluids in her and some drugs and hopefully, maybe she can keep some applesauce down
