my healing defenders are Nearl, Gummy and Spot, so was thinking Saria would be a sweet upgrade

and I have a Durnar but I've actually not used her... and Asbestos is pretty cheap at 45 certificates.

i've got 475 certs, and I'm deffo saving 180 for Surtr (hopefully she will be in shop this Nov)

or should I hold off on defenders and wait for Eyjafjalla... idk that spelling god

asbestos kind of depends on hwo you feel about your current defender list but iirc she has some good uses

saria is incredible

maybe one of the most useful/versatile ops EVER and also she is very hot.

at E2 she's similar to ptilopsis in that she gives SP charge with her healing

the thing with her is that she fills the role of both a defender and a very good healer in a lot of maps (WHICH IS ALSO USEFUL for challenge things like "no healers/casters/etc)

also reduces the amount of ops you have to use overall

her S1 is the same as nearl's but her S2 is just, auto healing in a wider range regardless of hp %

and her S3 heals per second over an even wider range but more importantly lowers Arts resistance in enemies and slows them

so her S3 is very helpful for casters/supporters

her S2 is more the bread and butter default skill you'll find the most use out of generally and her S1 especially at mastery is going to be the most useful of the healing defenders in endgame content like contingency contract

unless you are using her S3 for Mad Sick Melt Everything With Arts Tricks

yeah if you're in endgame tbh

all of her skills are worth mastery

because they all have their uses. i love her s3 for some CC maps

she's not as buff as hoshiguma damage wise (but only blemishine is when it comes to healing defenders) but she is very good at stalling and staying alive and keeping the people around her alive

i don't use asbestos so idk much about her but she's hot and that's important

the big thing about eyja is that she is the best single target caster (bc she is actually a splash damage caster with the DP cost of a single target caster) and especially her S3 has a very wide omnidirectional range of Big Damage

her S3 is so amazing Ive deffo been carried by borrowing her as support unit

my strongest is Ifrit but that linear is pretty limited

and I don't think I have a very strong single target caster, i usually use Amiya or Click

surtr is a lot better at surviving tho + i think she doesn't have a 5 target limit like eyja does and it's not random but surtr can't hit drones so weighing hand motions

yeah i think surtr is good to think of as like. a melee ifrit? so the linear range is more practical in that like. surtr can be placed anywhere that guarantees multiple linear tiles will actually do damage vs ifrit being limited by ranged tiles

I've really wanted Surtr cuz like, yeah shes so strong but also hot... but I do have Thorns n Silverash at least ... but maybe I should go for strong caster first n wait on surtr

honestly i would say surtr > eyja but they’re both extremely good

i’d have said skip asbestos but saria is REALLY good.
these days skill 1 default over skill 2, i’d say? but s2 will let her help a lot more with restoring sp to people; it’s just less potent as a specifically healing defender skill.

for mastery: try to at least do s1m1.
s3m3 is good to have for endgame especially as paired with surtr/eyja/literally any burst arts damage.

Degen: one day i will have both... or maybe i'll be able to save enough golds to buy both ^^;
