I'm glad that guy came to his senses, and I think apologizing was the right thing to do, but it's too little a lot too late. I don't know how I would have responded. Good for Daniel for being open to that.
Agreed. The other promising thing about it is that it suggests that the hearings are being effective in painting an overall picture of the prelude, incident, and aftermath. So effective that even participants are reframing the way they are processing it.
