Like my back doesn’t hurt, and I THINK if I’d fucked up the fusion cage or the bone I’d ... probably know? And it doesn’t hurt... my hip hurts, I fell on that too, but not badly. Hopefully when my surgeon sees the X-rays I’ll get an all clear.

and our work feels like it ... matters? in two weeks I’ve seen SO much stuff about how we’re fixing bridges and roads, improving accessibility for the disabled, adapting to climate change and building in protections for the environment

I mean no company is perfect but from what I’ve seen so far I just think my employer is genuinely pretty cool and that feels like so ... rare
