if I had art skills/money for commission, I would make/commission art where Minecraft Steve is a buff lady and the "stubble/beard" is actually a chin tattoo (it's low-res voxels you can't say for sure it's actually stubble!!!)
and then I would roleplay them

cuz I'm sick of this "Steve is a boy, Alex is a girl" shit when Steve was originally supposed to be nonbinary
(like Steve is still nonbinary in this interpretation they're just dfab instead of dmab)
I'm thinking the tattoo could be a bunch of vertical lines that look like a beard/stubble from a distance but when you get closer you see it's actually a tattoo
