I need to find another one for ocean because this is what I thought of immediately but I’m not really sure this has anything to do with the ocean actually specifically.

Also this probably wins an award for most obscure song I could put on here.

Bumping this because I’m having a music day, but also adding another for ocean.

It’s strange, I have more songs that I associate with the ocean (I have some DEEP, COMPLICATED things with the ocean, growing up a beach kid) than I have songs that are actually ABOUT the ocean, and the songs ABOUT the ocean rarely are songs I associate with the ocean????

But this is an “ocean” song for me and also the keeper of two of my favorite song lines ever.

The Travelers' Curse

The last line of this hits me like a baseball bat every single time, but it’s the build up for me, so I’m not putting it here.

But it was something that, as someone who has lived all over and mourned all the lives I have seen for myself from train windows, this song already made me ache long before FFXIV.

But then when I reheard it after that, it INSTANTLY became my WoL song.
