man. replaying personal story has me thinking a lot about trahearne and how like. the lack of much of a proper memorial fucking sucks, but i can kind of see why there wasn't one?

with the pact being a new organization, the orders generally relegating memorial services to the nations people come from, and the sylvari not really having any established funeral rites to speak of and the fact that as a person he wasn't very social

like i think the relationship he has with the commander is fairly unique. of the characters weve seen ingame i can count people who actually knew him on a personal level on one hand, even including headcanon

its just like. as frustrating as it is from a player perspective, theres some really interesting character dev for the commander you can do around trahearne not being properly remembered in canon because he was so lonely even as pact marshal

(and im choosing that at FM because i love to torment my characters oop)
