Like literally, I only had maybe TWO interactions with liara and ashley, just asking them basic small talk questions about themselves, and now here they are saying I've caused a jealosy problem on the ship and need to hard commit to one of them. "Neither" does not appear to be an option...

i seriously can't think of a single dialog option that expressed more than vague interest in hearing more about their backstories.

Whats really funny is that this happened the FIRST time I played this game too, and so I was trying to be extra careful about it

I even EXPLICITLY told liara at one point that I didn't feel that way about her and yet here we are.

That's why I installed mods that explicitly add to dialogue options "WARNING: ROMANCE OPTION"

yeah some game writers can't picture being nice to someone without wanting to bang them

Yeah if I ever do another playthrough I need to either go the mod route or have some kind of anti-romance guide up because its viscerally disappointing.
