she wants my thoughts on it since it's about giving ff1's lore another chance, esp since dissidia means lufenians are important again, and bringing that full circle and ff1 was the first game i bought, i was 5 and bought it because it had a sword on it, that's cool when you're 5

so i'm already a lifelong fan of the original, it started my love of science fantasy as a genre really fierce

and so far it's doing the whole concept justice

also it's a good soulslike/nioh clone and i would recommend it for beginners since they encourage casual mode play

it's an insanely hard game for me to put down

and everyone has a single brain cell, i find myself laughing anytime they talk and yell "dudes rock" even if the ladies are on screen

they're all very dudes rock

i think it's doing ff1's genre ambitions of the time it was released justice bolstering it

also it does a good job of making the soulslike version of a tonberry jumping after you esp if you havent saved in a while extra scary

I'm iffy on the gameplay from a personal taste standpoint, but even I have to admire the effort that went into it on every level (and the dumber parts being very clearly tongue-in-cheek)
