if you invite me to a discord channel i will likely just sit there quietly, like old irc days, and chime in now and again with something like "my favorite failed upn sitcom is" and then go back to sitting there

i have a personal irc ive had in various iterations for half my life now and it's right now just the polycule only posting station, but in a version before this we had a guy who liked the ebook porn i did and didnt talk for two whole years once, but did talk after that, then went back to idling

that's the most pure form of posting
