If I have to rate the game, it's probably a 8.0-ish game.

I really like the freedom the game enables you to pursue after like: S/M and Sw/Sh being really railroady as fuck.

The story for each three paths, if I have to order it it'd be:
- Arven's story
- Team Star's story
- Pokemon League story

I really like all the major characters! Just that this time around the theming of the Gym Leaders is p hit or miss.

It's because this time the Gym Leaders are people who actually have proper jobs aside from Gym Leading compared to Sw/Sh's wilder stadium battlers

So the Gym Leaders here definitely felt a bit more grounded.

Pokemon design wise... Ceruledge ended up being my favorite out of the newest entrants (gee i wonder why)

As someone who have to live with really crappy games, and the fact that I've played more ambitious open world games on the Switch, I do have to admit the performance DID detract from my experience

But it's not as big since at the very least it's constantly within the 20-30fps range as opposed to people going "it's fully unplayable"

Do I WANT Gamefreak to actually improve their rendering and shit? Yeah, but considering most of the Sw/Sh era and this game have been them suffering finding their footing in the 3d area, it's a miracle S/V and Legends Arceus managed to somewhat run

I had fun with it, and it's probably the first time I got so engrossed in the game ever since... Black 2/White 2
