So before ALA (Anime Los Angeles, not the library con), I actually went to Llama and Soka's place fairly often cuz I had a Paper I Needed To Get Done. They were nice enough to poke me to work and also fed me because they are the best.

Llama always knows the best places. :>b

Right, on to business! ALA is actually one of my favorite cons because it's relatively small, pretty chill if you don't go with the party people, and I get to spend most of the days with Mika, her sister, and Llama, two of whom I see maybe once or twice a year.

I was supposed to room with my friend at an inn, but unfortunately she tested positive for covid right before the con, so I stayed there by myself. It was a really cute and and was a convenient 6 minute drive away from the con center, but the place itself was pretty tiny.

We got breakfast though! Which I only did for 2 days because it ends at 9:00 and I don't wake up to get breakfast that early if I can help it.

Now on to the cosplays! I didn't take too many that weren't selfies, but here are the boys:

I love the dumb Kirishima and Bakugou commission but my favorite thing was probably the Inuyasha print, cuz the faces are so cute.

I had a ton of fun that con and quite a few people enjoyed my cosplay, asking for pics and stuff, so I'm counting it as a major success.

Anime Impulse was the last 2 days and oh boy. Oh boy, did it rain. I'm so glad that I sprayed waterproofing onto my boots cuz there were several little rivers that we just had to step in.

I wasn't actually planning on going, but then Llama told me that the Nijisanji Noctyx group (the one my purple boy is in) was going to be there, so. Well. Kind of had to at that.

Sure did last minute make his costume, using a purple t-shirt, and XXL white t-shirt, and a fabric marker!!

Worth it

Ended up actually really enjoying the con, cuz I tagged along with Soka and Llama and even participated in my first Pokemon stamp rally. Just the one compared to Soka and Llama's seven.

Because of that, I ended up buying more than I was expecting, but I got this real pretty bracelet that was Thanatos from Hades themed!!
