yeah, she had a really rough start

I didn't want to spend too much time focusing on that, but i think unfortunately a lot of her art is viewed through the lens of her rape because of the subjects she painted

but yeah! overall she was an incredibly strong woman who didn't need a man

yeah, it does end up bringing it back around more because of her art subject material, though it feels she's... claiming things back for herself
