What if a Knowledge Tree in Trench similarly could pull information about its residents from the environment??

So it could store pieces of someone's in-game history, which could let people read about their struggles in Trench through its bark

Something else that might be fun to play with: If there's a Pthumerian component to it! Maybe it can tie into Moon Presence's theme of protection and guidance of Sleepers. Like for example, a blood ritual or something that draws visitors toward a specific piece of bark, that details something a character currently needs help with

but as part of the ritual, you gotta state your honest intentions of why you're doing this, and the tree will be updated with something YOU are struggling with

ugh the asoiaf wiki does not have this laid out properly. they are weirwood trees carved with faces that the old/indigenous faith of westeros is centered around. basically they repositories of magic and knowledge, greenseers can look through the faces and see what they saw at any time, past or present and it's implied maybe future

I have been trying to tie it to the pthumerians lmao. the moss king actually grew it but I feel like it reaches back thru mariana to westeros?? it links sansa and lady to the power of the old gods
