Blood work done this morning. Have to check and see if there were any persisting effects from going into shock and nearly dying during delivery back in February.

It feels weird to have to do it because I feel fine. In fact, even my OBGYN, who is the one more or less saved my life, said that had he not been there and known what hand happened, he wouldn’t have even guessed what happens by looking at me.

So yay for amazing recovery. Which makes even mentioning what happened feel so surreal.

Liked I found out yesterday that the doctors had asked Hubs what faith we believe in and if we had a priest we wanted called. Like. WTF.

Here’s hoping that the blood work shows that there is nothing going on. Then I meet up with my PCP to create a wellness plan to get healthier and stronger since I turn 40 this year. ugh, and have to discuss first mammogram
