I helped llama with the last 4 spots of 2 different stamp rallies before I did anything else. she asked if I wanted to do one myself and I told her "no thank you, I choose life"
it took me about 4-5 hours to just shimmy through all of artist alley, not looking at most booths for very long, and pretty much every aisle was like that
I didn't buy too many things this time around, partially cuz I don't have an obsession with anything right now and partially cuz there are just too many pretty things out there and I had to be REALLY discerning with what I bought, so I went the other extreme and didn't buy as much :')
I'll take pics after I vegetate, it was pretty much all small things and then the stuff I got llama
God save anyone who isn't an extrovert or has anxiety about being near people, cuz it was already pretty bad for me
AX was a yearly thing for me during and immediately after high school... how did I stand it
I got out when it started getting bad and whew has it only gotten worse each year
oh god this looks like so much
songofkeys: tbf, it only got this bad in the last... 5-6 years? so.:|
small but that's cuz I really hustled through all SEVEN HUNDRED AND TWENTY ARTISTS in like 5 hours
AO3 pin was cuz I was wearing my AO3 shirt. And then I went to exhibit hall and had to take a pic next to these tall mofos.
no teenager should be this tall, how dare they
no one should be surprised that I got Kiribaku things, I haven't found a new obsession just yet so I'm sticking to these stupid boys until I do
oh dang the pin isn't really visible. it's got the ao3 format and it says
oh.
oh.
720 ARTISTS??????????????
aww you bought xed;s book
wildmichimon: oh apparently it was actually 587 artists, but it was 12 rows of about 60 artists each row, so I just multiplied
oh I did hear last year had like REALLY BAD co2 levels, cuz the idiots didn't turn on the damn a/c and there's just way too many people at one given time in the area, but idk if it was better or worse this time
I didn't experience anything like that, but I also function fairly well in crowded areas, albeit grumpily
But I mean the experience of someone who has to sit there and table would be different from someone who is in and out
I did spend all my hours in AA but that is very true! I was able to move around and get out of the crowd when I needed, so I at least had some air movement.
