i had that issue for months and it's driving me nuts. Glad to see that LL knows and works on it

i wonder what it was a side effect of. weirdly, it wasn't hitting me until fairly recently, well after they knew about it and were trying to fix it.

I am convinced that once I hit 500 friends I hit a fatal cap; Now, each time a person is added it randomly selects one to drop because I keep having to re-add people I have known for years. To make a new friend, one friend must die, choose wisely.

I've honestly gotten used to it. I usually relog and they come back without sandbox tping. Plus sometimes you can use the break laughs

maxwell_graf: you hit the ceiling on your monkeysphere. that's it, you can't hold on to any more people as people in your brain/list. (i heard that LL used Dunbar's number theory early on to signal when to retire a last name, so it could even be an actual limit)
