Right in the middle of covid times we actually snagged round-trip plane tickets to Japan for $400. We were HOPING what would happen was that the country would open back up because of the Olympics.

So of course that didn't happen and we just got refunded and that trip is delayed, but one day!!

yeah, we started in Osaka, then did Hiroshima/Miyajima, Kumamoto (and yes I did my statue visit), Kyoto, Nagano/Ueda, Sendai, and ended in Tokyo

Like we kind of knew but also $400!!! It was worth the attempt. 😂
