spent all day trying to install koel on my server, before finally remembering that I can just submit a support ticket and they'll do it for me.......
anyway, it is now done and I can use it!!!! I had to set up the lastfm integration, but it HAS IT and I don't have to rely on the desktop scrobbler for it!!!!
so I'm very pleased by that, less so that I now have to upload like five million songs to my somewhat slow server
at least I have unlimited storage space
