idk if i will be able to maintain a pattern of using plurk but i can come back for a bit

realized i never followed up on these life updates. i finally quit that bullshit job that gave me night terrors and CPTSD, i put to rest a hyperfixation that took over my life for 6 years and have been easing into discovering other stuff, and i've been doing some self-directed voice feminization therapy!

i got a new job (which is still a lateral move from retail into another retail but it's closer to home, they pay me more, and i talk to less customers), and it's been good for me short-term. it's also been nice rediscovering and uncovering other hobbies and videogames/music/anime/etc.

and people have been telling me my voice is lighter, a bit higher-pitched, and more lilting recently. i still got major work to do before i feel my voice is in a good female range and it feels effortless, but i've always been so fucking self-conscious about it and to hear other people can tell a difference... it makes me happy!

also i'm actually close to graduating with a bachelor's degree in creative writing! i think i have two semesters and it's almost over. took me so fucking long but i can't believe i'm finally gonna finish soon
