Do any of you use pellet kitty litter or anything sand-like in texture? Either of the two? And any recs?
Fredday hates our litter. He hates the feel. But pellet is so freakin' expensive, so it's not something we can be careless with trial & errors... So. Yeah?

I tried, the cats didn't care for pellet, or crystal. the crystal was the worst. I went back to plain old litter.
if he hates regular litter, pellets might not work, either. sand, something finer, might be best, but I don't 100% know.

Ouch. Yours, too, huh? Yeah, he doesn't want to touch it and will freak out at it touching his paws. I had hoped it was just a different brand, but that didn't work. I was hoping/thinking that pellets will be... less... well. Not quite "grainy", but hoping it would feel less icky under his paws since it's less likely to get stuck?
I was thinking of something finer like sand-type, too. Will have to look into it ;;
yeah, unfortunately I have no idea what sand is available and what to rec there.
mine at least are fine with the cheap stuff.
