i have no reason to pitch this, i just love it and think more people who like chill farming sims should also consider giving it a look

you can learn alchemy and reanimate the dead to help manage your farm so you can do better sermons in church, you can have your undead minions learn how to write so you can do better sermons, there's a dungeon, you can decorate with skulls, you can make wine and beer and candles and incense and jewelry

there's a communism dlc where you can help or antagonize comrade donkey

there's a vampire dlc

I've barely touched either bc there's so much just in the base game alone

there's some pixelated gore bc you are a mortician/graveyard keeper who also is managing the local church, and your corpse quality affects your church and graveyard quality

(and also later, the quality of your undead minions which affects work efficiency)

you can also inter bodies ethically or just be completely unethical and harvest for parts and cremate what remains

also you absolutely have cooking and recipes for the food you farm!!

i like stardew but it kinda stresses me out sometimes and graveyard keeper is no deadlines only vibes

ALSO MOST IMPORTANTLY YOU CAN KEEP BEES

it offers a lot of the same stuff mechanically while also being unique, i like it

oh I think I remember this game from. somewhere? idk but I'mma wishlist this one so I don't forget again

yeah, it's been around for a bit and is on pretty much everything now! but i think it's one of those that people have definitely missed for one reason or another

Perfect Garbage Studios is also developing a dark humor farming sim at the moment, but the plot was something along the lines of either you or a townsperson is a serial killer (if the latter, iirc i think a major mechanic is finding out who is...? been a while since i saw the annoucement on twitter)

this seems like cult of the lamb which means i am gonna love it

it's not as combat roguelike-y as cult of the lamb but definitely kinda similar in that way

but there is definitely a strong narrative and lots of quests

I love the town-management aspects of cotl so this sounds right up my alley

It's been on my switch wishlist for ages. But I'm so jumping on it for Steam.

i have it on both steam and switch and it's fun to play on either one! it definitely goes on sale on there too from time to time if you find yourself wanting the portability of play

Yeah, rn my computer desk is a bit awkward to play at so I'm more prone to play for a long time on Switch

totally makes sense, i have had all kinds of awkward desk situations so i get it. but yeah, it runs and plays great on switch just as much as pc ✌️

... Yeah speaking of that, I'm restarting Alan so I get my ammo and my batteries back now that I know what I'm doing

hahaha sometimes you just gotta go in with a fresh start. idk what difficulty you're playing on but the level of damage taken/dealt is not THAT much different between normal and easy so if you haven't been playing on easy already i recommend it

Also playing it docked this time, I tend to do better with games like this when the controls aren't on either side of the screen
