I'm fascinated by the Vlad Vexler's thought that whatever Putin is doing, it leads to destabilization of the regime. It immediately reminded me of black holes: no matter where you try to move away from singularity, you can't escape meeting it once the event horizon is crossed, since both the time and space dimensions converge in a single point. #ukraine
This conclusion seems so natural because of how inherently unstable fascist movements are. But in today's world and the way current politics play out, it is easy to forget that fascists aren't all powerful and charismatic; in fact, they are quite stupid. But they do have scary cruelty and persistence in what they set out to do.
