anyway. have a lot of things to do and outfit/makeup to plan for tonight

a friend from karaoke wanted to plan a surprise party for Vin's birthday but because of reasons for which i am not at fault it's no longer a surprise lol

anyway, the themes are steampunk/burlesque/carnival/circus because initially the friend in question wanted to get a german chocolate cake and go with a Cabaret theme because vin sings Mein Herr quite often

but then had to fiddle with the concept a bit because of cake deco limitations

i have to figure out... what i want to wear that also fits me rn because the heat wave has meant no exercise therefore... weight gain, sigh, which wouldn't bother me except my closet is already super limited rn

that's all I'm gonna say about the body dysmorphia and gender dysphoria I'm probably gonna feel about it later

i also need to figure out what to sing and practice anything that i feel like i need a lil refreshing on

will try to squeeze out a lil rp around all of this

also need to shower with enough time for hair to dry

depending on what i can cobble together clothing-wise i might do a sort of sad clown look. I'm probably gonna be a clown no matter what b/c i love doing clown makeup and i rarely do

not as productive of a day as i had hoped but still managed to get some things knocked out and working my way back into alan's voice so that's good

managed to get up to 16 coins, mayyyy try to get up a little more if i can before submitting AC later today, but for now, I need sleep

i've been trying to work through the network stuff in the hopes of it being faster but it's alan so that's never really a guarantee

so anyway, i'm gonna try working through some older log things after sleep: reply to sigrud, maurice, and max for event threads, tag back dee, beck, abigail, and alfred on changelog threads, reply to scratch on entering the backrooms thread (which will put that thread up to 3 and qualify for coins)

and then other older things after that and then the newer network stuff

now that i have a rough game plan and order of operations, it is time to go sleep

okay, i have eaten and was going to crack into things but upon further reflection i should probably make coffee first since it's how i self-medicate for my audhd and skipping it is probably not the best idea in that regard

so coffee, and then i shall do a final pass over tags before submitting AC

i could do it now but considering I can get at least one more coin if not two if i write fast enough... why not

might need to make coffee, but also feeling very overstimulated right now and struggling not to just give up on being awake about it and nap

i don't want to nap, but

i've taken ibuprofen and i'm going to sit in a lukewarm shower for a bit in the hopes that the negative ions will help me reorient and feel better

and then make coffee after

passed out from stress forcing my brain to shut off or else and i really didn't want to know what or else would be if i kept forcing myself to stay awake so

i had to pull out an old keyboard b/c the mechanical gaming keyboard that our desktop computer came with (which is only 3 years old) has a BUNCH of faulty keys which makes typing on it with any sort of efficiency near impossible

and the resulting effect is that this keyboard works but OOF it is from that period of time when almost all keyboards had the really floaty marshmallow-feeling keys to type on

i already have to deal with a weird adjustment period when switching between different keyboards because the somatic experience of typing is jashdjhsjdasjk depending on how the keys feel

BUT IT WORKS which is a relief because this thing has been in storage, unused, for like 9 years

i've been wanting to do things at the desk recently but have been unable to type properly and wasn't sure where a spare was, but today i caved and went digging
