sometimes i feel like my brain only likes properly proofreading after i've sent something and I can experience shame about it because i did review it multiple times before sending

typos for sure, or in this case, an entire sentence to round out a point i started to make and didn't finish

i'm not editing the comment a third time so i'm just going to put it here but i was looking at possibly incorporating some of the graffiti from the dark place gameplay reveal since it's all supposed to be reflections of alan's subconscious

the spiral is cut from the door b/c it's a clean shot of it, but it also shows up in a loooooot of the graffiti, so

alan is spooky darkness madman and he's here to make everyone afraid of the shadows

(initially i wanted to add some of the light-sensitive text but he wouldn't have seen any of that since this version never left the dark place to save bright falls and alice)

I MAY incorporate lines from the hiss incantation (specifically "YOU ARE HOME" amidst the darkness stuff) just because i have found a way to logic out how his involvement with the AWE dlc would have still happened within this AU timeline

oh, i also remembered that initially i had wanted alan to write a bunch of fake monster propaganda during demon month because of the influence of one of the mythology/demonology-inspired psychological traits, so maybe that can double down with the way he'll be during the event, depending on whether or not things made during the event will stick around

(i asked about whether or not the graffiti would stay, i imagine the ruling on that would also apply to like... making fake pamphlets or something)

(if the answer is no on that, then i'll just have to squeeze in something after the event or handwave/backdate that he made a bunch of fake info and submitted it places for distribution before the event, idk)
