15 days out from first Covid symptoms. Feeling good except for developing this pain mid-back.

Got so painful I can't really sleep and increasingly agonizing during the day.

Figured I pulled something. Then late this afternoon - well, Friday afternoon - started feeling like it just took a little extra effort to breathe. Not wheezy, oxygen still at 97%, but worried enough I decided to get checked out.

And I have beginning atages of pnemonia in my left lung. Which is potentially why my back hurts.

It was the weirdest thing. When the doctor was probing my back to see where it hurt - it didn't. And I was like, it's right there where your hand is, but it doesn't hurt when you're pressing at i.

And she said, ah... so it's deeper in!

And I figured it was a problem when she was listening to my left lung and I took a deep breath and she said, "A deep breath, please". Oy.

So. I'm on antibiotics and steroids.and trying a heating pad to help my back. Just fell asleep sitting sideways in my recliner for over three hours, which is why I'm writing this now.

Oof. I am glad it sounds like you caught it early. Pneumonia is no joke. Hope it sorts out quickly! That’s scary

Thanks. I used to get pneumonia at least once or twice a year till I started on my inhaler protocol for colds. Haven't had it in a while, but I'm glad I caught it fairly early. If I'd waited till Monday to be seen it probably would be fairly ugly.
