says Hex is having surgery next week. It is routine surgery but Hex is not relaxed about it.

I hope it goes well. They are always improving their practice to make surgery safer, but a little anxiety is rational.
Surgery is always unnerving. Sending good thoughts that all goes well.
Thank you everyone! Hex has one pretty gnarly looking incision but is feeling pretty good now!
