it seems a little chunkier than like a 10-hour jaunt

it depends on how much you like side quests and optional stuff

probably 30-50 hours if you stick to just whatever is the "main plot" but if you like side questing and doing whatever you come across then yeah 100+ hours easily

My experience was very long but I look at and investigate everything... and talk to every NPC... I have no regrets

It feels more like a dnd campaign than a linear game much of the time so everyone’s experiences are very different. I am doing a stream run to share the story with people on Saturdays but that will probably end up long, too...

lol and thus the problem of "what is time"

all these enjoyable things are so time-consuming

you can also just enjoy it super slowly, like there's no reason you have to play it 5 hours a night

it's a time management thing, and shorter experiences are just easier to finish these days

sitting around trying to carve little concavities in the soapstone of time for doing these things for pleasure

without sacrificing retained memory of the thing over several days
