Ok so who here has played Far Cry Primal
Putting a spoiler warning just in case, because video games
I know people went BOO IT'S NOT GREAT when it came out but I liked it
You get to make the slightly historically inaccurate killer honey badger your pet
You get to see people talking in a theohetical proto-PIE language
The Lady of Wilendorf is a major plot point, I love the art history reference
And it kind of shocked me that I teared up for the one group of bad guys I didn't expect I'd be tearing up for at the beginning of the game
Me going "Yeah these people doing the bad stuff wow that's uncool"
And then the game goes "WELL Ni, SURPRISE, because THIS is why they are doing the bad stuff" and then I realized what was happening and I went
oh no 
that's actually kind of tragic
