so the current plotline where i'm at is that a young girl named rosalie's mother was killed by a noblewoman
rosalie swears revenge and decides to march to versailles on foot to kill the noblewoman (lady polignac)
but when she gets there she mistakes oscar's mother for polignac because they're wearing similar dresses
when she explains this after oscar stops her from killing her mom, oscar is super sympathetic and comes up with a plan
oscar is going to train rosalie to impersonate a noblewoman so rosalie can go to high society parties and find polignac
in the meantime, she will also help train rosalie in how to swordfight
rosalie falls in love with oscar and is very conflicted about it
they go to a party together, and in front of marie antoinette encounter polignac
rosalie goes for a knife, but oscar stops her
fair enough, they're in the middle of a party right in front of the queen, probably not gonna get out of that one and not even that likely to succeed
polignac recognizes rosalie and is about to out her but oscar threatens her into staying quiet
that night, back at oscars place
oscar tells rosalie she should forget about revenge, it won't bring her mother back, etc
oscar if this is how you feel you did not need to train her in the art of swordplay to get revenge on her mothers killer
you could have just told her to fuck off
oscar what was the point of this
