i can't emphasize enough how good the work school of honk does is; i literally rocked up like "i've never played an instrument in my life" and they went "here's a trombone, here's how to make a noise on it, now go out there and play music"

after never being able to read sheet music and tremendously screwing up an attempt at playing the flute as a kid, i'd decided music wasn't for me and believed that my whole life; school of honk completely changed that

we accept musicians of all skill levels and teach them how to play, we loan out instruments, we play at community events, and we do it all for free, so this fundraiser is a big deal to help us keep doing that!!!

as far as doodles go, as long as you have a visual reference, i'll draw basically whatever. visual reference CAN mean something like a picrew with a couple written details to correct or clarify!! details will obviously be simplified to suit the style so it's nbd

multiple characters are okay within reason, but please consider shooting a little more cash over to the school of honk if you're gonna ask for that. turnaround time will depend heavily on how much interest this all gets!!
