I watched Taxi Driver yesterday because I'd read an interview with Jodie Foster. I almost gave up on it ¼ of the way in because I could not see where the plot was going except somewhere horrible
I'm glad i persevered, Jodie Foster's acting was incredible for a 12 year old. Whether 12 year olds should be playing prostitutes is another matter.
That was a rough film. I watched it a couple of times, but haven't been tempted lately
I didn't like the film at all
me either; it was a brilliantly-acted train wreck
It inspired Joker which is similarly unpleasant.
