I think Friar Laurence knew that Juliet would come to him, and I think he's been planning for her to take this remedy.
I think R&J must truly be in love because I don't know if I could find it in my heart to fake my death to my family and move on with my
life as if nothing happened
it would def not be preferable! the remedy idea is a bit extreme...does it need to be?
I don't necessarily think Juliet is making the most easiest decision by going through this whole plan just to be with Romeo, but it is well
I think it'd be a lot easier to just run away with Romeo, but then she would be completely banished from her family, and it would ruin
the whole tragedy. I think Shakespeare might have made this situation so complex to show how love can make people act so foolish.
exactly...you're so smart..i agree..think about the role that TIME plays in the play...everything happens so quickly...within a week, right?
why is that? to show the quickness and passion of young love? to show the rashness of it?
I think both. I think he is just trying to portray how young love is so chaotic and so extreme. I also think he has R&J fall in love so
quickly to show how desperate for love both of them are.
It kind of relates to a lot of teenagers today I think... Today, teenagers are rushing into all of these different ways of expressing their
love, and rushing into the future so much based off of society, and because it's what they think they're suppose to do when they think
you're such a good thinker...love talking with you...!!
Thanks.
great ideas! i completely agree with the teenagers rushing things. Its so cliche cuz it shows its been this wat forever, even in
