I love the mahoghany finish (of course it isn't real mahoghany, but the color is so warm and beautiful)

She treadles very smoothly, and I had success with spinning the pencil roving since I didn't have to draft & pinch & tradel .

treadle...only pinch and treadle

I played around with the double drive tension, but found the scotch tension easier to get set right for me as a beginner

I have lots of purple pencil roving to practice with! about 1/10 of what I have filled the first bobbin.
