actually I like the jumbled mess of Twitter and using Twhirl I just go to what I need. I find this just too time consuming

true, more time consuming, but so much saner and worthwhile. I can come back to a thread at any time and no feel like I missed chunks.

I think twitter may work for a synchronous form of communication, but when time is limited and I can only async, twitter fails at it for me.

I personally prefer Twitter but it is stressing out again today with no paginationor replies. So will spend time befriending plurk today

abandoning the twitter web UI and relying on something like twirhl to scrape your feed for replies is a must nowadays. major twitter #fail
