reality is not influenced by time at all. i feel like it's just a number. in a sense, time is biology if we're talking about the fact that

we sleep at night or mate at 20 and die at 80. these are biology, not time.

there is an equivocation going on here between the numbers we attach to time and the progression of cause and effect relationships
