I've never used elements but have used photoshop for years. I'm on CS and getting ready to upgrade to CS4 *gulps*

I use CS2, too. Tried to upgrade to CS4. But it's too heavy for my HP laptop.

Wow! There's a $400 price difference between the two. Here's a secret, though, with a student ID, you can get a copy of CS4 for $299.

I prefer the full featured product, but elements is good as a basic package.

yeah. i like the price of elements
