Well......the logs that I stocked for the big storm on Jan 13th, have finally been put into use! The cold rains over the weekend put a chill on everything! So, on April 30th and May 1st, we had a flaming ambience in our living room. Now, that's a first!!! Happy May Day!!! a day late!

our daughter lives along the eastern coast of Florida. She has evacuated her home and headed inland to a friend's house. Thank goodness for caring friends.

School has started in Hutch, but I am waiting until September to begin volunteering. We had a cooling rain tonight, and the rest of August should be pleasant!!!

poor Gecko! I hadn't noticed that he had followed me to the door when a campaigner came by. Wondered why the door wouldn't close. Hope I didn't crush him too badly!!!!
