noticing a mistake on a texture after uploading all colors

what makes a mesh piece "too small" for SL? and how come sometimes a mesh won't scale down even though it's larger than another part that will scale down?

a sim where i can rez, but no scripts...suggestions? i need to rename a bunch of stuff has a no mod script inside, so I can't do it from inventory. but they have scripts that will reset if I rez them!
