[England] I'm in Oxford and I have one day to explore.

Coming in yesterday evening continues my sense that none of this is real.

I need to crash right now, not having slept since I left at noon my time yesterday, but ok so far England is SO FUCKING ENGLISH and I mean that in a good way?

[podcast] I did not manage to record my next episode in time for it to be ready by next Tuesday.

But I am not sure anyone will notice.

Speaking of local wildlife, there's a duck yard a block away and there's always some new drama.

[Seattle area] Between the zoo bear eating ducklings in front of kids and the zebra on the loose up in North Bend, it's been a week.

[london] Ugh trying to schedule everything and I want to do Oxford but with the travel time it feels hard to fit that in AND Liverpool etc etc.

Had a very low key birthday yesterday--a walk with TheHats, some reading, video gaming, dinner with Joy and company. I'm doing my now-traditional drop-in outdoor gathering on Saturday, then Sunday London here I come!

Was just reminded, I'm on TikTok now because of my podcast.

But it's pretty dire in there. What am I supposed to do or follow to make it decent?
