i am seeing little nubs on certain plurks. wondering what it all means

why does 140 characters seem like so many more on plurk than it does on twitter?

what is the appropriate amount of balance between plurk and twitter? I have 3 friends here and like 245 there. time to change that

when I left Plurk Sunday it was sans Karma...Now I have Karma and friends.

wondering if karma comes in two flavors: good and bad or simply just is.
